January 21, 2020, Municipal Agriculturist of Liloy Ronaldo B. Barote met the medical students of Team Lawaan, Katheya S. Danial (CHP Head on SWM), Regene Kris Simonne V. Gamil and Julius Matthew M. Luzana as they presented the overview of the current solid waste management concerns and ongoing and future projects of barangay Lawaan. During the meeting, the students presented their “Vermi-community” facility project in which one of its strategy is the conduct of seminar on vermicomposting of biodegradable waste to the residence. The team expressed their appreciation to the office for their support and generosity to share their expertise on the subsequent exposure of the medical students.
