Last July 15,2019, the Lawaan Barangay Council together ADZU-SOM medical students calls for Barangay General Assembly and Clean-Up Drive Awarding. The program was attended by enthusiastic Lawaan Elementary pupils, and active residents of Lawaan.
The program started with a prayer by Hon. Carmelita Escuadro and was welcomed by Hon. Mercideta Jadraque. There were also Roleplay contest about Dengue and Tuberculosis Prevention from Grade 3 to Grade 6. With the prizes were thru the effort of Brgy Officials and medical students.
Barangay Captain Hon. Roberto Totao said that they were thankful to medical student for their willingness to serve the community that even the farthest households, they empowered it to clean their surroundings to eradicate Dengue in the barangay. The cleanest purok was awarded to Purok 3, who garnered 95 points. The board of judges were Lardel Kent Caray, SWM Head of Team Sto. Niño, Marco Louie Maneja, SWM Head of Team Sto. Niño, and Katheya Danila, SWM Head of Team Lawaan.
